ZIP opens directly to bin, src and package.json. Requires Node.js 20+ and PostFaro local extension 1.0.7+. Install manually once; connect the companion CLI for automatic updates while idle.

Copy the skill instructions to your agent for setup and use. New CLI versions are still suggested. For the first local installation, extract the ZIP to a permanent folder, enable Developer mode at chrome://extensions and load that folder. Install the companion CLI and run install-host to connect it; updates then install after tasks finish and extension pages close. The website provides only the latest local package; the store edition continues to update through the store. If discovery fails, copy the actual ID from the extension page and run postfaro install-host --extension-id <actual-id>.

Will PostFaro publish content for me?+

You can fill a platform’s publishing page and publish manually after review. Supported destinations also let you review and confirm publishing in the extension. Available methods vary by platform; you choose the final action.

What do I need to get started?+

PostFaro 1.0.0 has been submitted for Chrome Web Store review. Installation will be available after public release. You will need Chrome and signed-in accounts on your chosen platforms. Membership and publishing quotas are shown in your account.

Where are drafts stored?+

Drafts are stored locally in your current browser. Clearing extension data, uninstalling or changing browsers may affect your drafts. Back up important content.

Do I need to configure AI?+

No. AI is optional. You can configure a compatible service for suggestions and segmentation. Related content is sent to the service you choose; check its data practices before use.

Why do formats differ between platforms?+

Platforms have different editors, limits and rules. Select a format in the extension and check the available destinations and publishing-page instructions.
